Understanding shopper organisation
The Shoppers section differs from the Catalogue in terms of its organisation. Instead of levels, it breaks down primarily by function, each function corresponding to one of the tabs that displays when Shoppers is selected from the site map.
Shoppers section management pages
(accessed by clicking the corresponding tab at the top of the screen)
· Contents - Lists all registered users of the shop and allows you to view and/or modify individual shopper details . This page also allows you to create users in order to test your shop. While the Shoppers section as a whole is organised according to function, this part of the section is set up much like the Catalogue section -- in other words, it contains levels. In Shoppers we have shoppers (a list on the Contents page). Within that we have individual shoppers. Within the single shopper we have pages providing information for specific shopper details.
· Search - Allows you to conduct detailed searches in the shopper database .
· Import - Allows you to import a database file containing new shoppers and their related information .
· Export - Allows you to export the shoppers to a .CSV file.
· Shopper Properties - Allows you to create new sections for the online registration form .
Note: Undo is not discussed in this chapter since the page is standard throughout the program.
